Yes. We can work from sketches and a detailed description when they explain the subject clearly. The illustrator will need enough information to show the actual components and their relationships. We will ask you to clarify missing details rather than guess how the invention works.

Utility drawings generally explain structure, operation, systems or processes. Design drawings present the appearance of a design through consistent views. Your patent practitioner can advise which application route and visual disclosure fit your situation. Compare our utility samples and design samples.

Yes. Ask us for a confidentiality agreement before sharing the detailed materials, or send your proposed NDA for review. You can begin with a general description of the project. Read our confidentiality agreement and contact the team with any questions.

Our listed drawing prices are $29 per utility sheet and $39 per design sheet. The total depends on the sheet count and any agreed additional services. Review the current options on the pricing and order page. For an uncertain scope or urgent deadline, request confirmation before paying.

Pricing is per sheet. A sheet may contain more than one figure when the layout and applicable requirements allow it. Figure count and sheet count are different, so ask us to review the proposed views if you need help estimating your order.

Yes, revisions to the agreed drawing scope are included. Send consolidated comments with figure numbers and clear change instructions. New subject matter, additional sheets or a substantial change to the invention may change the scope; ask the team to confirm before proceeding.

For invoiced payments, card, PayPal or Wave payments carry a 4.4% transaction charge, and wire transfers carry a $15 fee per invoice. ACH to Bank of America has no additional charge. Confirm the available method and final total with your account manager or at checkout before paying.

Contact your account manager or mail@patentdrawingexperts.com as soon as possible, quoting your order number. The available options depend on the work already completed and the requested change. Partial charges may apply once work has started.

Regular delivery starts from two or more days, depending on scope, source materials and workload. We confirm the schedule for your project before starting. If you need delivery within two days, ask us to confirm expedited availability and any extra charge before ordering. Allow time for draft review before your filing deadline.

Compare each view with the reference materials. Check component shapes, labels, hidden details and consistency across views. Ask the inventor to verify technical accuracy and your practitioner to review filing implications. Send one consolidated list of comments, identified by figure and reference number.

Final sheets are delivered electronically in the format agreed for the project. Tell us before work starts if you need a particular PDF specification, image format or editable source file. This helps us confirm the deliverables and any additional preparation.

Yes. Send the existing sheets, available source files and the specific correction instructions. For a drawing objection, include the relevant notice and your practitioner’s directions so we can assess the required changes and confirm the scope.

There is no universal figure count. The right set depends on the subject, application type and what must be disclosed. Design applications often use a coordinated set of appearance views; utility applications may need sections, details or diagrams. Agree the view plan with your practitioner and share it with us.

Yes. Tell us the target office and application route at the start. We prepare the drawing presentation for the agreed requirements and your filing team’s instructions. Different offices and routes may require different treatment, so do not assume one set fits every filing.

Yes. We can illustrate the features and relationships you need to explain. Tell us that the figures support a provisional application and provide your practitioner’s instructions. Our provisional patent drawing guides can help you organize the brief.

No. Drawings help communicate the invention, but grant depends on the application, relevant law and examination. Our drawing service focuses on preparing the agreed illustrations. Patentability and filing strategy should be reviewed with a qualified patent practitioner.
